West of Finsbury Park Station in North London there is a vast council estates area. At midday on a Sunday there are not many people around: women go around with their shopping while men are hardly to be seen.
Here it’s all about repetitive geometries and functionality over beauty. The only structure that loses its conformity with the rest of the buildings is the playground: here curves appear and new colours break the usual pattern.
